I was given the Viking Bakeware Non-Stick Ceramic Muffin/Cupcake Pan to try, it by far has been the best muffin pan I have ever used. What I had decided to make was Banana-Cinnamon muffins.
There are a few things that I love about the Viking Bakeware pan. One being that when Viking states that it is non-stick, they mean it. I have used this a few times and none of the muffins have stuck to the pan at all. I have used the pan with and without cooking spray just as a test and there is no need to spray or grease before use. Once the muffins are done cooking, all you have to do is use a fork to gently lift up the muffin and it lifts right out, no hassle, no resistance.
The ceramic coating is environmentally friendly as it’s water based does not contain PFOA or PTFE which is a plus. The other features the Viking Bakeware pan has is the silicone handles. The handles make it easier to grip the pan when you are taking it out of the oven. Also, cleaning is a snap! As you could probably tell from past entries, I am very big on easy to clean kitchen products. Hand washing is recommended, any debris that is on the pan lifts right off. No need for scrubbing at all, which is truly wonderful. However, that being said, this pan is ALSO dishwasher safe. I have washed it in the dish washer several times now and it comes out spotless and in perfect condition every time.
To top it all off Viking provides a 2 year warranty. I highly recommend this either for yourself if you like to bake or even as a gift.
